Kenneth W. Arnold, 61, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
He was born Nov. 29, 1955, in Garden City to Robert Dean and Flora Mae Staley Arnold.
He lived most of his life in Garden City, working for St. Catherine Hospital for 40 years and retiring in 2015. He enjoyed rodeo, horses, growing roses, fishing, photography, and volunteering for Fellowship of Christian Cowboys at rodeos, and volunteering at the Southwest Kansas Pro-Am and Beef Empire Days.
Survivors include three sisters, Virginia “Gena” Young, Sandra Naab and husband Ken, and Jaylene Gipson and husband Gary, all of Garden City; nine nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Danny Arnold.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
There will be no visitation.
