SCOTT CITY — Scot DeWayne Aytes, 62, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, at his home in Scott City.

He was born May 21, 1955, in Scott City, to Jimmy Wayne and Nathalie Doris Wagner Aytes.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, Mr. Aytes owned Service First Contracting until his retirement.

Survivors include two brothers, J. Michael Aytes of Richmond, Mo., and Greg Aytes of Linwood; a sister, Pamela Wheeler of Scott City; and his grandfather, Waldo Ehlers of Washington, Mo.

Graveside memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Scott County Cemetery in Scott City.
