SCOTT CITY — Faye L. Stewart, 73, of Scott City, died Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver. 

She was born Nov. 11, 1943, in Modoc, to Warren “Sparky” and Estella Turley Cranmer. 

A lifetime resident of Scott City, Mrs. Stewart was a bookkeeper and homemaker.

On Sept. 12, 1960, she married Mark L. Stewart Sr. in Scott City. He died Nov. 20, 2001, in Scott City. She also was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister and a granddaughter.

Survivors include three sons, Mark Stewart Jr. of Tribune, Don Stewart of Aurora, Colo., and Darin Stewart of Scott City; a daughter, Pam Miller of Dodge City; a brother, Robert Cranmer of Manhattan; a sister, Donna Woodruff of San Springs, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church in Scott City. Burial will be at Scott County Cemetery in Scott City.

Visitation hours are 1 to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City. Memorials are suggested to the Faye Stewart Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
