SCOTT CITY — Wilda Jean Weber-Gossett, 81, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, in McCallen, Texas. 

She was born April 12, 1936, in Gove County, to William and Altamae Brown. 

A lifetime resident of Scott City, she was a homemaker.

On Nov. 16, 1952, she married Louis Weber Jr. in Logan County. He died Dec. 29, 2001, in Aransas Pass, Texas. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Marvin Weber; three infant sons; a grandson; a brother, Murry Brown; and an infant brother.

On Dec. 12, 2012, she married Harold Gossett in Mission, Texas. He survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Karen Hick-James of Park City; three sons, Brian Weber of Abilene, and Van and Darwin Weber, both of Denver; two sisters, Willa Ruth of Oklahoma, and Jessie Shawver of Texas; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City. Inurnment will be at Scott County Cemetery in Scott City. 

There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association, in care of the funeral home.
