LEOTI — Dale Naiman, 70, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and formerly of Leoti, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, at Brookdale Vista Grande in Colorado Springs.

He was born Jan. 14, 1947, in Hays, to Ernest and Hannah Stricker Naiman.

On Dec. 23, 1967, he married Connie M. McClure in Richmond. They pastored for 25 years, planting new churches in Michigan and Florida and serving at Lighthouse Christian Center in Mayo, Fla. He also served as a prison chaplain for 12 years in the Florida State prison system as a supervisory chaplain.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two children, Tiffany Naiman of Colorado Springs, and Eric Naiman of Wake Forest, N.C.; and 13 grandchildren.

A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Aug. 26 at Christ Covenant Church in Leoti. Inurnment will be in Leoti Cemetery.
