ELKHART — Teresa E. Palacios, 57, of Elkhart, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.

She was born March 22, 1955, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Jose and Agripina Leya Espino.

A homemaker, she married Isaias Palacios nine years ago. He survives. Other survivors include five daughters, Martha Zubia of Odessa, Texas, Nora E. Hinojoza and Bilma E. Rios, both of Monahans, Texas, and Sandra Zubia and Jessica Guzman, both of Elkhart; a brother, Jesus Espino of Ojinaga; four sisters, Maria Rios and Aide Zubia, both of Odessa, and Lidia Muñoz and Irma Hinojoza, both of Ojinaga; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Rosary and vigil service will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Elkhart. Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will follow at Elkhart Cemetery.

Visitation hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.
