SCOTT CITY — Timothy Don Dirks, 16, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, in Hays.

SCOTT CITY — Timothy Don Dirks, 16, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, in Hays.

He was born May 7, 1996, to Daryl and Vernita Schmidt Dirks, in Scott City.

A lifetime resident of Scott County, Mr. Dirks was a student and worked for Dirks Earth Moving.

Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Brent Dirks of Morrill and Terrell and Keith Dirks, both of Scott CIty; two sisters, Nancy Koehn of Marienthal and Rachelle of Fort Sumner, N.M.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Scott Mennonite Church in Scott County. Interment will be at Scott Mennonite Church Cemetery in Scott County.

Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.

Memorials are suggested to Sunny Plains School in Scott County, in care of Price & Son Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, KS 67871.
