Nicholas Chaffin

SUBLETTE — Nicholas Eugene Chaffin, 24, of Sublette, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, in Sublette.

He was born Nov. 1, 1988, in Garden City, to Victor and Gina Spanier Chaffin. He graduated from Sublette High School in 2008.

Survivors include his father, of Sublette; his mother, of Sublette; a brother, John Chaffin of Wichita; three sisters, Ashley Chaffin and Alexis Spanier, both of Sublette, and Veronica Chaffin of Moscow; and his grandparents, Betty Chaffin of Sublette, and Ronald and Sharon Spanier of Copeland. He was preceded in death by a brother, Andru Chaffin; and his grandfather, Henry "John" Chaffin.

Funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Sublette Christian Church. Burial will be at Haskell County Cemetery, Sublette.

Visitation hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Sublette Christian Church. Memorials have been established for the family, in care of Paul's Funeral Home, Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
