SYRACUSE — Evelyn Frances Klein Hacker, 86, Syracuse, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at the Seasons Of Life Living Center in Syracuse.
She was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Tampa, to George Klein and Mary Schweimmer Klein.
In 1946, she married Bill Cooke. They later divorced. In 1960, she moved to Syracuse, where she became the manager for Pioneer Telephone and retired in 1996. On May 12, 1962, she married Francis Gilbert Hacker in Syracuse, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1978.
She is survived by one brother, Lloyd Klein of Udall.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Lawrence Klein.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. MDT Tuesday at the Syracuse Cemetery, Syracuse.
