LEOTI — Eunice Mae Ellis, 82, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at her home in Bixby, Okla.
She was born Jan. 5, 1930, in Selkirk, to Elzy G. and Mary Lonberger Burch.
On Aug. 14, 1946, she married Lloyd Howard Ellis in Tribune. They lived in the Leoti area until 1963. She was a homemaker and nurse's aide.
In addition to her husband, survivors include six children, Diana Davis and Dixie Ireland, both of Bixby, Robert Ellis of Perry, Okla., Donna Storeim of Aurora, Colo., Debra Holt of Marshfield, Mass., and Dana Graves of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Burch of Blackwell, Okla.; and a sister, Daisy Conley of Russell. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Howard Ellis.
Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Assembly of God Church in Leoti. Burial will be at Leoti Cemetery.
Visitation hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, with the family available from 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be sent at www.priceandsons.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Silent Angels Animal Shelter, in care of the funeral home.
