MANTER — Lonnie James Toole, 61, of Manter, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, in rural Baca County, Colo.

MANTER — Lonnie James Toole, 61, of Manter, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, in rural Baca County, Colo.

A farmer, he was born March 13, 1951, in Dodge City, to James B. and Juan Kilgore Toole. He graduated in 1969 from Stanton County High School.

Survivors include his parents, of Manter; two sons, J.W. Toole of North Platte, Neb., and Dustin Toole of Liberal; a brother, Ronald Toole of Manter; a sister, Debra Fieldgrove of Somerton, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Toole.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church in Johnson City.
