LAKIN — Margit Anderson, 60, of Lakin, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Kearny County Hospital in Lakin.

LAKIN — Margit Anderson, 60, of Lakin, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Kearny County Hospital in Lakin.

She was born Sept. 13, 1952, in Erlangen, Germany, to Heinrich and Erna Marta Paula Kohler Geitner. She graduated from high school in Erlangen.

On June 7, 1974, she married Tommy Ray Anderson in Nuenberg, Germany.

A Lakin resident since 1990, Mrs. Anderson had worked at several local businesses.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Karen Harker of Lakin; two sisters, Elfreida Hoffman and Renata Stoll, both of Germany; and a granddaughter.

A memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. Burial will be at Deerfield Cemetery in Deerfield.
