Theodore Correll

ULYSSES — Theodore Leslie "Ted" Correll, 72, of Ulysses, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

He was born Oct. 27, 1940, in Lamar, Colo., to Donald L. and Rosa Lee Martin Correll. He graduated from Grant County Rural High School in 1959.

Mr. Correll retired in 1999, after 35 years with Williams Natural Gas.

On June 5, 1960, he married Berniece Young. She survives. Other survivors include his mother, of Ulysses; two daughters, Annette Nichols of Manter, and Vicki Koehn of Hesston; two brothers, Tom Correll of Yorba Linda, Calif., and Marty Correll of Linwood; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Country View Baptist Church in Ulysses. Burial will follow at Ulysses Cemetery.

Visitation hours are 2 to 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses. Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association, Country View Baptist Church or DuGood Events, all in care of the funeral home, 405 W. Grant Ave., Ulysses, KS 67880.
