Marvin Naab

INGALLS — Marvin Leroy Naab, 65, of Ingalls, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

He was born March 7, 1947, in Garden City, to John V. and Rhoda Frank Naab.

Mr. Naab had been a farmer and was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, his dogs and cats, and working in the yard.

On March 5, 1986, he married Linda Jane McCoy in Garden City. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Tony Naab of Wichita; two daughters, Janice Rafferty and Samantha Naab, both of Wichita; four brothers, John Naab of Canon City, Colo., Frankie Naab of Oklahoma, and Jerry and J.D. Naab, both of Garden City; two sisters, Vicky McInnis and Sherry Espinosa, both of Garden City; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David Naab; a sister, Rhonda Lillienthal; and a niece, Melissa Eiland.

No services are planned at this time.
