Tickets on sale now for Blues at the Zoo

"The Nighthawks" are returning for the fourth annual "Blues at the Zoo" at Lee Richardson Zoo. The event is a benefit for Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo. Funds raised will go toward a new primate exhibit.

"The Nighthawks" are returning for the fourth annual "Blues at the Zoo" at Lee Richardson Zoo. The event is a benefit for Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo. Funds raised will go toward a new primate exhibit.

Tickets are now on sale for the May 10 event. Advance tickets are $10 and can be purchased on zoo grounds at the Finnup Center, Safari Shop and the vehicle entrance, at Patrick Dugan's Coffee House or at www.folrz.org. Admission is $20 at the gate. Children 5 and younger are admitted for free.

The zoo will close at 4 p.m. May 10 for event preparations and the southwest gate on the west green will reopen at 6 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7 p.m.
