Domestic violence

Health
Southwest Kansas Area Gluten Free Support Group. For anyone who adheres to a strict, or not so strict, gluten-free lifestyle, or anyone who's interested in learning more about the gluten-free lifestyle for a friend or family member. This initial meeting will feature Southwest Medical Center's registered dietician, Mary Heibert, who will help accomplish the goal of setting up a regularly scheduled meeting to address subjects of interest to participants. Garden City Area Alzheimer's and Other Dementias Support Group. The support group welcomes any family members or friends caring for someone with Alzheimer's Disease and other dementias. Garden City "Wolf Pack" Consumer Run Organization (C.R.O.) Inc. A non-profit organization that serves persons with self-identified mental illness. It is a member run organization that is centered on peer support. The CRO focuses on leadership, education and community involvement. Time/Location: 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at 409 N. Social groups

Weight loss
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly). An affordable group for those wanting to lose weight. Celebrate Recovery. A faith-based, Christ-centered, 12-Step recovery program for people struggling with all kinds of issues and is not just for those struggling with chemical and alcohol addiction. Grief Support Group. To allow participants to share their feelings and gain the tools to help them after suffering the loss of a loved one. These are open support groups with no age limits; participants may join or exit the groups at any time and all groups are free.
