Main Street work on schedule, city says

The reconstruction of a portion of Main Street between Fulton and Maple streets is on schedule, according to the city engineering office. On Thursday, northbound traffic on Main Street will be detoured to Maple and Fourth streets during concrete paving operations.

The reconstruction of a portion of Main Street between Fulton and Maple streets is on schedule, according to the city engineering office. On Thursday, northbound traffic on Main Street will be detoured to Maple and Fourth streets during concrete paving operations.

J-A-G Construction, Dodge City, is the contractor for this project. The $498,140 project is jointly funded by the Kansas Department of Transportation and the city of Garden City and replaces existing asphalt over brick and concrete pavement with new 9-inch concrete pavement.
