Free musical variety program set for tonight

A musical variety program of Golden Oldies featuring Ken Degenhardt playing the accordion will be presented at 7 tonight at Garden Valley Retirement Village, 1505 E. Spruce St.

Senior association to host dinner Friday

The Finney County Senior Citizens Association will have its covered dish dinner Friday at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St.

Entertainment will be provided by the Garden City High School Modern Show Choir at 6 p.m., with dinner to follow. Bring a covered dish and enjoy an evening of good music and fellowship.

Zumba fundraiser set for Saturday morning

Zumba with Cristy, 609 N. Eighth St., will be holding a master class from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The class is $10, and all proceeds from the class will go towards medical expenses for Norma Rodriguez and "PJ." Rodriguez has a brain tumor and PJ is paralyzed from the waist down.
