Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Friday

Gabriel Bautista, 18, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, Lot 151, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. in the 400 block of East Kansas Avenue on allegations of possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction.

Alex Morales, 26, 903 Safford Ave., was cited and released at 1:45 a.m. at the Law Enforcement Center, 304 N. Ninth St., on an allegation of a previous battery and criminal damage.

Enrique Alarcon-Alarcon, 18, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, Lot 116, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. in the 400 block of East Kansas Avenue on allegations of possession of drug paraphernalia and no valid driver's license.

Mychaela Vo, 20, 1203 Ridgewood Drive, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. in the 400 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thursday

A 10-year-old boy was arrested and released to Programs Assessment Treatment Habilitation at 10:07 a.m. at Therapeutic Education Program, 224 S. Main St., on allegations of battery and disorderly conduct.

Manuel Torres-Melgar, 36, 240 S. Farmland Road, Lot 53, was arrested at 11:35 a.m. in the 1400 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Peggy Chavez, 43, 805 Meadowview Drive, was cited and released at 7:45 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Second Street on an allegation of no current insurance.

Jose Chairez, 41, 710 Moores Drive, was cited and released at 8:10 p.m. in the 100 block of West Fulton Street on an allegation of no proof of current insurance.

Andrea Tenorio, 30, Dodge City, was arrested at 2:56 p.m. at JC Penney, 2302 E. Kansas Ave., on allegations of theft, battery and obstruction.

Matthew Griffin, 18, 603 E. Edwards St., was arrested at 9 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Main Street on an allegation of criminal damage.

Marisela Vela, 15, 2820 Eldorado Place, Apt. D, was arrested and released to PATH at 10:30 a.m. at 1401 W. Jones Ave., on an allegation of battery.

Joseph Jimerson, 41, 2002 Campus Drive, Apt. 3, was arrested at 2:41 p.m. in the 2000 block of Campus Drive on a municipal warrant for review and was cited and released on an allegation of theft.

Nov. 7

Blanca Chavez, 21, 205 S. First St., was cited and released at 2:23 p.m. in the 300 block of North 13th Street on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Thefts/Losses

Thursday

Between Sept. 14 and Thursday at Movie Gallery, 503 E. Kansas Ave., a known person took money from the business. Loss $938.40. Investigation continues.

Between 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7:45 a.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of West Campbell St., someone took an unlocked vehicle with keys left inside. Loss $7,000.

Between Nov. 4 and Thursday in the 2500 block of A Street, someone failed to return a lost tag to a person. Loss $4.

Wednesday

Between 4:30 and 5 a.m. in the 500 block of Maple Street, a known person took a coin purse containing money. Loss $90.

Tuesday

Between Jan. 14 and Tuesday in the 100 block of North Seventh Street, someone took a license plate. Loss $4.

Between 10 and 10:05 a.m. at Walmart, 3101 E. Kansas Ave., someone took shoes. Loss $30.

Nov. 9

Between 8 and 8:15 a.m. in the 900 block of North Sixth Street, someone lost her accessible parking placard and nobody has attempted to return it.
