Tommie Turner, 66, died Sunday at Lane County Long Term Care in Dighton. Turner was born Aug. 20, 1947, in Orange County, Calif. to the parents of William and Phyllis Betty (Brown) McCune.

Tommie Turner, 66, died Sunday at Lane County Long Term Care in Dighton. Turner was born Aug. 20, 1947, in Orange County, Calif. to the parents of William and Phyllis Betty (Brown) McCune.

Turner was a beautician in Washington until moving to Kansas in 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.

Turner is survived by three sons, Tom Matson of Seattle, Wash.; Rick Matson of Kent, Wash.; and Rob Matson of Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter, Heidi Seifried of Dighton; two brothers, Bill McCune of Redding, Calif. and Mike McCune of Calif.; a sister, Joyce Ann McCune of Oregon; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild

Memorial service is at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Boomhower Funeral Home in Dighton.
