Jacinto Guajardo

Jacinto Guajardo, 83, of Garden City, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, in Wichita.

He was born Aug. 17, 1929, in Santa Maria, Texas, to Juan Guajardo and Manuela Moreno.

Mr. Guajardo had worked for most of his life in the beef packing industry before his retirement.

On Dec. 15, 1955, he married Alma Sanchez. She survives. Other survivors include his children, Max Jacinto Jr., Hilario Guajardo, Rosario Adams and Manuela Guajardo; his siblings, Merced, Beatriz and Elva Guajardo; 19 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two children, Juan Jacinto and Vidal Guajardo.

Services took place in San Benito, Texas.
