Variety show offered at Garden Valley

Senior Center to host dance Wednesday
"The Blue Notes Variety Band" will entertain for a dance Wednesday at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St. The dance, which is open to the public, will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Downtown Vision sets its annual meeting
Garden City Downtown Vision's annual meeting is scheduled for 5:45 tonight in the Downtown Vision office at 413 N. Main St.

City Commission schedules town hall
The Garden City Commission will hold a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. July 30 in commission chambers on the second floor of the City Administrative Center, 301 N. Eighth St. The agenda for the meeting will be dedicated to public comment. The city commission is interested in allowing residents to bring forward issues that are impacting their lives.
Those who can't attend the meeting can interact with the commission using social media tools such as Facebook and Twitter. Cox Cable subscribers may watch the meeting on Channel 8. Residents are encouraged to post questions to the city's Facebook page or to the city's Twitter account using #GCKSTownHall.
