Museum hours set to switch Tuesday

The Finney County Historical Museum will switch to summer exhibit hours on Tuesday after closing Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

The Finney County Historical Museum will switch to summer exhibit hours on Tuesday after closing Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

Viewing hours at the museum, 403 S. Fourth St., will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Current exhibits include "My Place in Time"; "Take Stock in Finney County"; an old-style clothing dress up area, styled like a room of the Windsor Hotel; "Finney County Agriculture"; "Celebrate Kansas," offering children a chance to build Kansas icons using Lego blocks; and the temporary gallery currently showing "Garden City Then and Now."

Admission to the museum is free.
