Wendy C. Perryman, 48, died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at her home in Garden City.

She was born Sept. 23, 1965, in Evanston, Wyo., to Dennis and Cherilyn Karn Perryman.

She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Wyoming at Laramie and obtained a doctorate in neuroanatomy and cell biology from the University of North Dakota at Grand Forks.

She was a professor at Oral Roberts University for 10 years. A resident of Garden City since 2008, she worked as a paraprofessional and tutor at Garden City Community College.

Survivors include her parents, of Garden City; one brother, Brandy J. Perryman of Dallas; and one sister, Nikkie R. Perryman of Sheridan, Wyo.

Vigil and rosary will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City. Memorial Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

There will be no calling times. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Memorials may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St., Garden City, KS 67846.
