A Garden City man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday night in Barton County.

Seth E. Alexander, 19, Garden City, was injured and taken to Great Bend Hospital in Great Bend.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Alexander was driving a 2002 Ford Pickup westbound on Kansas Highway 156 when he lost control on icy roads, crossed the center line and entered the south ditch and rolled one time, coming to rest upright.

Alexander was taken to Great Bend Hospital, but a hospital official said that he was no longer at the facility and would not comment on his condition.

According to the KHP, Alexander was wearing a seat belt.
