Booth space is still available for the Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo's second annual "Global Bazaar & Ten Thousand Villages Festival," taking place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 21 in front of the Wild Asia exhibit at the zoo.

The bazaar is a vendor-style event featuring cultural arts, crafts, food, fair trade goods, small businesses and antiques. The FOLRZ will host a "Ten Thousand Villages" booth, which provides vital, fair income to Third World people by marketing their handicrafts and telling their stories in North America.

There is no admission fee for pedestrians. Booth spaces are still available at $50 per booth. Current FOLRZ members receive $25 off per booth space.

The "Global Bazaar" is a benefit for FOLRZ, with funds raised going toward a new primate exhibit.
