Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Saturday

Scott Sonnenberg, 19, 1006 N. Sixth St., was cited and released at 11 p.m. in the 500 block of North Third Street on allegations of fleeing and eluding and reckless driving.

Tuang Nguyen, 42, transient, was arrested at 1 a.m. in the 600 block of Garden City Avenue on an allegation of battery.

Raymond Lucero Jr., 32, 1112 N. 11th St., was arrested at 4:45 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Center on a failure-to-appear warrant for driving while suspended.

Carlos Rubio, 31, 314 N. 13th St. was cited and released at 1:59 p.m. in the 2500 block of North Main Street on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Gloria Garcia, 28, 2006 Campus Drive, Apt. 3, was cited and released at 1:27 p.m. in the 200 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Christopher Spor, 25, 607 Howerton Place, was cited and released at 1:43 p.m. at the Garden City-Finney County Animal Shelter, 124 Fleming St., on an allegation of dog at large.

Guadalupe Morales, 17, 801 N. Taylor Ave., was arrested at 8:05 p.m. in the 600 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no valid driver's license, and released to Programs Assessment Treatment Habilitation.

Daniel Hamil, 50, 903 1/2 Evans St. was arrested at 9:19 p.m. in the 900 block of Evans Street on a county warrant for probation violation.

Armando Ortiz, 50, 412 W. Prospect Ave., was arrested at 8:10 p.m. in the 400 West Prospect Avenue on an allegation of interference with parental custody.

Daniella Villanueva, 19, 1511 E. Chestnut St., Apt. 2, was arrested at 11:18 p.m. in the 1500 block of East Chestnut Street on allegation of battery.

Mary Worf, 50, 211 Washington St., Apt. 4, was arrested at 8:47 a.m. in the 200 block of Washington Street on allegations of domestic battery and disorderly conduct.

Gary Kopper, 57, Ingalls, was cited and released at 8:59 a.m. in the 1900 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Amber Riojas, 22, 613 Fleming St., was cited and released at 12:57 a.m. in the 100 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of driving while suspended.

Jeffrey Buffington, 39, Scott City, was cited and released at 11:58 a.m. in the 100 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Hunter Schlegel, 23, 509 N. Eighth St., was cited and released at 1:47 p.m. in the 100 block of Heroes Way on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Friday

Between 9:50 and 10:20 p.m. in the 2000 block of Commanche Drive, someone took a purse with identification and cash, then fled. Loss $112.

Criminal Damage

Sunday

Between 1 and 1:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Thompson Street, someone damaged a vehicle with a sharp object. Loss $3,500.

Between 1:30 and 1:57 p.m. in the 4100 block of East U.S. Highway 50, someone broke a windshield on a car. Loss $200.

Between 10 and 11 p.m. in the 100 block of Main Street, someone broke a rear windshield. Loss $800.

Between 5:10 and 5:12 a.m. in the 2500 block of A Street, someone broke a window to a house. Loss $50.

Between 1:30 and 1:36 p.m. in the 500 block of West Talley Trail, someone painted graffiti on a city-owned bridge.

Saturday

Between May 22 and Saturday in the 800 block of Bancroft Street, someone painted graffiti on buildings. Loss $100.

Miscellaneous

Monday

Between 10 and 10:20 p.m. in the 2500 block of A Street, someone hit a person numerous times behind the residence.

Sunday

Between 3 and 4 a.m. in the 3300 block of Amy Street, an unknown person stabbed a person in the side of the person's chest. Investigation continues.

Between 2 and 2:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of North Eighth Street, someone slashed a person under the arm inflicting great bodily harm. Investigation continues.

Friday

At 3:38 p.m. in the 1500 block of East Chestnut Street, a known suspect gave a false name on a traffic stop.

Sunday

Sergio Arroyo, 18, 5910 Skyline Drive, was arrested at 11:16 p.m. in Finney County on allegations of domestic battery and on an arrest-and-detain order.

Saturday

Raymond Lucero Jr., 32, 1211 N. 11th St., was arrested at 3:10 p.m. in Finney County on allegations of probation violation, driving while suspended and on a failure-to-appear warrant and out-of-county arrest warrant.

Bernardo Solorzano-Avila, 35, Kinsley, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. in Finney County on a failure-to-appear warrant.

Ruben Herrera, 36, 212 Washington St., was arrested at 3:15 p.m. in Finney County on allegations of two counts of probation violations.
