Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Today

Ricardo Alonso, 16, 1312 N. Eighth St., was arrested at 1:09 a.m. in the 100 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of curfew violation and and taken to Programs Assessment Treatment Habilitation.

Sunday

Quincy Crough, 27, 505 Inge Ave., was arrested at 2:58 a.m. in the 200 block of Davis Street on allegations of driving under the influence and driving while suspended.

Michael Benitez, 26, 1603 Neil St., was cited and released at 12:55 a.m. in the 1300 block of East Fulton Street on an allegation of disorderly conduct from Dec. 25, 2010, at Time Out, 1319 N. Taylor Ave.

Priscilla Ruan, 22, Holcomb, was cited and released at 8:51 a.m. in the 100 block of East Fulton Street on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Sandra Garner, 41, 605 N. Third St., was arrested at 10:23 a.m. in the 600 block of North Third Street on allegations of domestic battery and child endangerment.

Francisco Valverde, 32, 802 Summit St., was arrested at 10:19 a.m. in the 800 block of Summit Street on a Finney County warrant for probation violation.

A 12-year-old boy was arrested at 1:10 p.m. in the 600 block of East Walnut Street after allegedly taking a bicycle and scooter. Loss $120.

Abele Guerra, 49, Dodge City, was cited and released at 8:19 a.m. in the 100 block of West Fulton Street on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Lorenzo Serna, 41, 905 N. Taylor Ave., was cited and released at 10:03 a.m. in the 100 block of West Fulton Street on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Yadira Bencomo, 17, 201 Buffalo Drive, Apt. 1, was cited and released at 10:44 a.m. in the 100 block of West Fulton Street on allegations of no valid driver's license and no proof of insurance.

Jose Alvarado, 26, 2801 N. Eighth St., Apt. 34, was cited and released at 12:25 p.m. in the 2500 block of North Eighth Street on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Angelina Cruz, 26, 1609 Neil St., was cited and released at 2:31 p.m. in the 100 block of West Fulton Street on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

A 12-year-old boy was arrested at 6:12 p.m. in the 1600 block of Walker Street on allegations of aggravated battery and unlawful discharge of a BB gun and released at PATH.

Jonathan Vargas, 22, 403 Davis St., was cited and released at 5:05 p.m. in the 2400 block of Taylor Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Joshua Hartley, 22, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, Lot 129, was cited and released at 12:49 p.m. in the 2600 block of North 11th Street on allegations of drag racing and no proof of insurance.

Uriel Medina-Palacios, 35, Wichita, ws arrested at 9:18 p.m. in the 200 block of South Main Street on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Bonnie Schreibvogel, 67, 905 N. Starlight Drive, was arrested at 1:31 p.m. at Hard Rock Lanes, 1612 E. Laurel St., on an allegation of driving under the influence.

Porfirio Silva, 36, 212 N. 10th St., was cited and released at 10:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Isabel Ramos-Arguello, 23, 513 Stoeckley Place, was cited and released at 9:25 a.m. in the 1700 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Katherine (Katrina) Hansen, 51, transient, was arrested at 6:38 p.m. in the 1600 block of Safford Avenue on allegations of criminal trespass, failure to report an accident and failure to stop at an accident.

Farhan Abdille, 23, 605 Labrador Blvd., Apt. 207, was cited and released at 8:07 p.m. in the 200 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Christopher Cole, 22, 2601 W. Mary St., Apt. 501, was cited and released at 10:01 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Mary Street on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Deisy Carranco, 23, 514 Bancroft St., was arrested at 4:53 p.m. in the 600 block of Bancroft Street on a city warrant for excessive noise.

Larissa Whetstone, 16, 5840 N. Third St., was arrested at 11:40 a.m. at PATH, 2701 N. 11th St., on an arrest-and-detain order.

Wayne Flanders, 61, Ulysses, was cited and released at 10:48 a.m. in the 1100 block of North Taylor Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Rhonda Palomino, 44, 219 Wesley St., was cited and released at 8:15 a.m. in the 1600 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Jose Velasquez, 20, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, Lot 244, was arrested at 9:49 p.m. in the 1400 block of St. John Street on a Finney County warrant for contributing to a child's misconduct.

Cruz Velasquez, 18, 615 Garden City Ave., was arrested at 9:49 p.m. in the 1400 block of St. John Street on seven Finney County probation violation warrants.

Yovany Rodriguez, 18, 1301 Conard Ave., was arrested at 11:03 p.m. in the 400 block of Lake Avenue on allegations of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a weapon.

Thursday

Boyd Evans, 18, Dodge City, was arrested at 1:36 p.m. at Garden City Community College, 611 Campus Drive, on a city warrant for theft.

March 15

Martin Gutierrez-Reyna, 32, 2224 W. Kansas Ave., Apt. 14, was arrested at 8:06 p.m. in the 1500 block of East Kansas Avenue on allegation of driving while suspended and habitual violator.

Thefts/Losses

Friday

Between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Gibson Street, someone took a bicycle. Loss $100.

Between 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of College Drive, someone removed a Play Station game console from a residence. Loss $200. Investigation continues.

Between 3 and 6 p.m. in the 900 block of Jennie Barker Road, someone entered an unlocked residence and took a laptop computer. Loss $2,000.

Criminal Damage

Sunday

Between 5 p.m. Friday and 11:05 a.m. Sunday at Finnup Park, 301 S. Fourth St., someone painted graffiti on two Dumpsters.

Thursday

Between 12:01 Wednesday and 5 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of East Pine Street, someone damaged a vinyl fence. Loss $350.

Wednesday

Between 12:01 a.m. Tuesday and 11:59 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of West Maple Street, someone slashed four tires. Loss $500.

Miscellaneous

Sunday

At 7:20 p.m. in the 500 block of North Second Street, a known suspect hit and kicked a person, then fled the scene. Investigation continues.

Friday

Between 8 and 10:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Labrador Boulevard, a known suspect threatened a person with a knife. Investigation continues.
