Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Wednesday

Benito Olson, 47, 903 W. Olive St., was arrested at 6:02 p.m. in the 200 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of criminal trespass.

Junior Recendez, 17, 2401 W. Kansas Ave., Lot 120, was arrested at 5:39 p.m. in the 2700 block of North 11th Street on an arrest-and-detain order.

Somxong Keophampho, 23, 715 Susan St., was cited and released at 12:50 p.m. in the 100 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Larry Becker, 18, 1991 N. Chmelka Road, was cited and released at 10:12 a.m. in the 300 block of North Campus Drive on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Jack Tisdale, 38, 1601 N. Main St., was arrested at 8:02 p.m. in the 800 block of Moores Avenue on an allegation of domestic violence batter.

Saturday

Juan P. Guevara, 20, 614 N. Ninth St., was arrested at 2:05 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Ninth Street on allegations of possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of a stimulant and interferance with a law enforcement officer.

David Burgardt, 57, 706 E. Laurel St., was cited and released at 9:24 p.m. in the 600 block of East Pine Street on an allegation of no proof of liability insurance.

Cruz Velasquez, 20, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, No. 277, was cited and released at 2:34 a.m. in the 400 block of North Jennie Barker Road on an allegation of consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Jorge Hernandez-Flores, 21, 950 N. Jennie Barker Road, No. 10, was cited and released at 2:34 a.m. in the 400 block of North Jennie Barker Road on an allegation of transporting an open container.

Dec. 28, 2012

Joshua Adame, 17, 705 Bancroft St., was cited and released at 2:04 a.m. in the 2500 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Burton Jones III, 20, 411 Evans St., was cited and released at 11:55 a.m. at St. Catherine Hospital, 401 E. Spruce St., on an allegation of driving while suspended.

Dec. 27, 2012

Francisco C. Cayetano, 50, Dodge City, was cited and released at 4:20 p.m. in the 1900 block of East Kansas Avenue on allegations of no driver's license and no proof of insurance.

Ruben Gonzales, 69, 715 St. John St., was arrested at 4:14 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Taylor Plaza, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Jennifer Godwin, 53, 302 N. 10th St., No. 1, was arrested at 7:08 p.m. in the 2100 block of Mohawk Drive on an allegation of criminal trespass.

Jaime Fonseca, 20, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, No. 370, was arrested at 10:38 p.m. in the 4100 block of East U.S. Highway 50, on a municipal warrant for failure to appear.

Thefts/Losses

Wednesday

Between 7 and 9 a.m. in the 1400 block of West Fulton Street, someone took a vehicle without permission. Loss $5,000.

Sunday

Between 2:45 and 7 p.m. in the 500 block of West Fair Street, an unknown person entered the locked residence through the back door by kicking it in. Once inside, the person took a Vizio 32-inch television valued at $350, a 22-inch Dell computer monitor valued at $150, $200 in cash and a payroll check in the amount of $88. Loss including damage to the door is $1,008. Investigation continues.

Dec. 28, 2012

At 9:20 p.m. at Sandstone Spirits, 519 W. Mary St., an unknown person took alcohol from the business without paying for it. Loss $82.

Between midnight and 7 a.m. in the 1500 block of West Fulton Street, an unknown person entered the home and stole cash and jewelry. Estimated loss $610.

Dec. 27, 2012

Between 6 p.m. Dec. 22 and 8 a.m. Dec. 27, 2012, in the 600 block of North 10th Street, an unknown person entered a residence and stole jewelry and electronics.

Between 6 a.m. Dec. 26 and 3 p.m. Dec. 27, 2012, at The Pantry, 511 E. Kansas Ave., an unknown person used a counterfeit $20 bill to purchase items. Loss $20.

Dec. 26, 2012

Between 5:30 p.m. Dec. 25 and 7 a.m. Dec. 26, 2012, at St. Catherine Hospital, 401 E. Spruce St., an unknown person entered an office and removed computer equipment without permission. Loss $2,685.

Nov. 7, 2012

Between 5 p.m. Oct. 1 and 5 p.m. Nov. 7, 2012 in the 500 block of West Prospect Avenue, a known person stole electronics and tools. Investigation continues.

Miscellaneous

Wednesday

At 11:15 a.m. in the 1600 block of North Main Street, someone battered his wife. Investigation continues.

Tuesday

Between 2 and 2:05 a.m. Tuesday at the Fulton Street Pub, 1301 E. Fulton St., two people struck someone several times, causing injury. Investigation continues.

Sunday

At 4 a.m. at East Garden Village, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, a known person got into a fight with another known person and caused severe injuries. Investigation continues.

Saturday

At 9:30 p.m. at Wheatlands Country Store, 1521 E. Fulton St., a known person got into a verbal altercation with another known person and struck her in the face and arms several times. Investigation continues.

Wednesday

Juan Ramirez, 26, 870 Sandplum Court, was arrested at 9:30 a.m. in Finney County on an arrest-and-detain order.

Andres Ortegon, 31, 4875 Hillcrest Ave., was arrested at 9:55 a.m. in Finney County on a n allegation of driving while suspended.

Elizabeth Estrada, 22, 604 Maple St., was arrested at 9:55 a.m. in Finney County on allegations of no insurance, no valid license, speeding and failure to yield.

Alegrando Saenz, 21, Lakin, was arrested at 10 a.m. in Finney County on allegations of speeding and no valid license.

Tuesday

Tregg Michael Thomeczek, 27, 910 N. Grain Bin Road, was arrested at 9:38 a.m. on allegations of tranporting an open container, criminal trepass, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hallucinogenic drugs.

Toby Leo Dominguez, 18, 12195 S. Blackbob Road, Olathe, was arrested at 1:13 a.m. on allegations of driving under the influence, attempt to flee or elude, contributing to a child's misconduct, transporting an open container, consumption of alcohol by a minor and interference with a law enforcement officer.

Jenney Opal Mae Mommer, 41, 2315 Tonio Ave., was arrested at 4:36 p.m. on an out-of-county warrant.

Priscilla Marie Jibben, 24, 1085 Teardrop Lane, was arrested at 9:18 p.m. on a municipal bench warrant for failure to appear.
