Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Tuesday

Lisa Ann Murphy, 47, 621 1/2 N. 13th St., was arrested at 1:57 a.m. on an allegation of domestic battery.

Monday

Madicella Segovia, 19, 1001 N. Eighth St., was cited and released at 4:43 p.m. in the 100 block of East Mary Street on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Seth Burnett, 22, 1203 N. 11th St., was arrested at 4:23 p.m. in the 600 block of North Main Street on an allegation of probation violation.

Victor Martinez, 32, 305 1/2 N. Third St., was arrested at 8:28 a.m. in the 300 block of North Third Street on allegations of domestic battery and disorderly conduct.

Jonathon Brown, 25, 304 Pony St., was arrested at 12:23 p.m. in the 600 block of East Walnut Street on a city warrant, county warrant and on an allegation of interference with a law enforcement officer.

Maricela Vargas, 20, 104 S. Lynch Road, was arrested at 9:16 a.m. in the 500 block of West Mary Street on allegations of criminal use of a weapon and interference with a law enforcement officer.

Alejandro Juarez, 21, 1545 T-Bone Drive, was cited and released at 5:53 p.m. in the 2500 block of Cherokee Street on an allegation of possession of drugs.

Saturday

Rosalinda Gardea, 49, Dodge City, was arrested at 12:04 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Center, 304 N. Ninth St., on a warrant for failure to appear.

Friday

Darrell Williams, 25, 2604 Chainey, was arrested at 9:29 a.m. in the 2600 block of Chainey Street on allegations of driving while suspended and fleeing and eluding.

Danielle Boyd, 29, 1908 C St., was cited and released at 10:49 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Fulton Street on an allegation of theft.

Thursday

Christopher Martinez, 29, 2603 N. Seventh St., was cited and released at 11:59 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Guadalupe Flores, 37, Scott City, was cited and released at 12:33 p.m. in the 1000 block of JC Street on allegations of driving while suspended and no proof of insurance.

Ruben Fernandez, 16, transient, was arrested at 11:07 a.m. in the 1000 block of N. 11th Street on two warrants on an allegation of probation violation.

Arabella Pimentel, 35, 170 N. Seventh St., was cited and released at 11:45 a.m. in the 1200 block of North Third Street, on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Jan. 13

Santos Estrada, Jr., 20, 3501 N. Campus Drive, was arrested at 2:46 p.m. in the 1800 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of driving while suspended.

Errick Gatlin, 21, 411 N. Fifth St., was cited and released at 4:49 p.m. in the 2500 block of East Spruce Street on an allegation of driving while suspended.

Criminal Damage

Monday

Between 9 a.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of North 12th Street, an unknown person used a BB gun to shatter the window of a vehicle. Loss $300.

Saturday

Around 4 a.m. in the 700 block of Howerton Place, someone set a vehicle on fire. Total loss $8,000. Investigation continues.

At 6:30 a.m. in the 4100 block of E. U.S. Highway 50, someone threw a rock and shattered a window. Loss $100.

Around 8 p.m. in the 500 block of N. Third St., someone broke out a window and entered a residence without permission. Estimated loss $500.

Thefts/Losses

Monday

Between Aug. 25 and Monday in the 1200 block of West Campbell Street, an unknown person took a license plate off a vehicle. Estimated loss $5.

Between 10 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. in the 1200 block of West Campbell Street, an unknown person took money out of a purse. Estimated loss $3,580.

Sunday

Between Jan. 1 and Sunday, someone took a black and yellow "Next" brand men's bicycle from the front yard of a residence in the 300 block of North 12th Street. Loss $50.

Between 6 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Dee Street, someone took a four-wheeler from a yard without permission. Loss estimated at $5,500.

Friday

Sometime between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday, someone entered an unlocked vehicle in the 2500 block of E. Kansas Ave., and stole a laptop and miscellaneous cash. Loss $506.

Between 10:15 and 10:30 p.m. someone took a vehicle without permission. Total loss $9,000. Investigation continues.

Jan. 12

Between 9 p.m. Jan 11 and noon Jan. 12 in the 1500 block of East Kansas Avenue, someone took a money bag containing $987 without permission.

Miscellaneous

Sunday

Between 2:10 a.m. and 2:20 a.m. in 300 block of West Fair Street, someone fired five shots into an occupied dwelling.

Kansas Highway Patrol

Monday

Jose Serafin Gomez-Cano, 28, 1201 N. 10th St., was arrested at 7:40 a.m. on an allegation of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

Finney County Sheriff's Office

Sunday

Martin Ponce, 24, 414 W. Maple St., was arrested at 9:47 p.m. on a bench warrant on an allegation of failure to appear.

Saturday

Rosa L. Gardea, 49, Dodge City, was arrested at 12:04 p.m. on an allegation of driving while suspended and a municipal bench warrant on an allegation of failure to appear.

Friday

Samuel M. Magana, 33, Holcomb, was arrested at 10 a.m. on an allegation of CSO-ordered commitment.

Javier H. Varela, 31, 785 S. Towns Road, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. on allegations of five counts of distributing less than 25 grams of marijuana, distributing between 25 grams and 450 grams of marijuana, four counts of using a communication facility in the commission of a felony drug violation, possession of a stimulant, possession of paraphernalia to cultivate less than five plants, use/possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, criminal use of weapons, no drug-tax stamp and marijuana or controlled substance.

Eduardo R. Ortega, 21, 622 N. 13th St., was arrested at 11:10 a.m. on allegations of possession of paraphernallia with intent to manufacture, plant or cultivate a controlled substance, no drug-tax stamp on an allegation of marijuana or controlled substance, use/possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, three counts of distribution withinn 1,000 feet of a school and distribution of certain hallucinogenic.

Gregorio Gonzalez, 22, 712 Summit St., was arrested at 7 p.m. on an allegation of CSO-ordered commitment.
