Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Wednesday

Rufilio Sandoval, 29, 611 Teitelbaum Ave., was cited and released at 3:30 p.m. in the 200 block of East Fair Street on an allegation of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Alma Urrutia, 44, 205 S. Fifth St., was cited and released at 8:08 p.m. in the 2200 block of East Mary Street on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Angel Holguin, 21, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, Lot 567, was cited and released at 12:08 p.m. in the 1900 block of Sloan Street on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Lupita Borrego, 28, 210 S. Farmland Road, was arrested at 8:39 a.m. in the Law Enforcement Center on an municipal bench warrant.

Lissa Mesa, 38, 2006 E. Fair St., was arrested at 2:05 p.m. in the 2000 block of East Fair Street on allegations of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, conspiracy to commit possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, conspiracy to commit possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of paraphernalia and no drug tax stamp.

Zachary Underwood, 22, 301 W. Maple St., was arrested at 2:05 p.m. in the 2000 block of East Fair Street on allegations of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, conspiracy to commit possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, conspiracy to commit possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of paraphernalia and no drug-tax stamp.

Helen Molina, 51. 2517 Old Post Road, was arrested at 2:05 p.m. in the 2000 block of East Fair Street on allegations of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, conspiracy to commit possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, conspiracy to commit possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of paraphernalia and no drug-tax stamp.

Thefts/Losses

Wednesday

Between 7 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Magnolia Street, someone took a wheel, tire and lug nuts from a vehicle. Loss $300.

Criminal Damage

Thursday

At 2:10 a.m. in the 4100 block of East U.S. Highway 50, a known person tried to leave a residence and damaged the door. Damage $200. Investigation continues.

Wednesday

Between 8 and 8:10 p.m. in the 1100 block of Pershing Avenue, someone damaged four exterior lights. Loss $100.

Between 1 and 1:02 a.m. at St. Catherine Hospital, 401 E. Spruce St., someone criminally trespassed and painted graffiti on an ASTAR 350 B2 Helicopter.

Finney County Sheriff's Office

Wednesday

Lupita Borrego, 28, 210 S. Farmland Road, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. in Finney County on an allegation of driving while suspended and on a failure-to-appear warrant.

Carl Garrett, 41, Wagoner, Okla., was arrested at 9:34 a.m. in Finney County on an allegation of operating a vehicle without a valid license.

Richard Orozco, 38, Holcomb, was arrested at 10:10 a.m. in Finney County on an allegation of no vehicle insurance.

Roque Torres, 27, 2004 N. Ninth St., was arrested at 10:26 a.m. in Finney County on allegations of no vehicle insurance and speeding.

Chris Varela, 24, 1730 Jennie Barker Road, was arrested at 11 a.m. in Finney County on allegations of no commercial driver's license, violation of motor carrier safety rules and regulations and over weight limits on wheels and axles.

Yenni Carizalez-Santos, 22, Deerfield, was arrested at 10:41 a.m. in Finney County on allegations of no vehicle insurance and speeding.

Jeremy Murphy, 40, 2601 W. Mary St., was arrested at 4:01 p.m. in Finney County on an out-of-county arrest warrant and on an allegation of parole violation.

Kansas Highway Patrol

Wednesday

Salvador Martinez, 34, 208 Conkling Ave., was arrested at 9:57 a.m. on an allegation of no commercial driver's license.

Rebecca Cantu, 59, 950 Jennie Barker Road, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. on allegations of no vehicle insurance and speeding.

Rodrigo Trejo-Sosa, 27, Hugoton, was arrested at 12:47 p.m. on allegations of speeding, over-tinted windows, operating a vehicle without a licence and displaying a fake ID.
