SCOTT CITY — Zella Fay Unruh, 91, Scott City, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at the Bethel Home in Montezuma.
She was born June 23, 1922, in Greensburg, to Lincoln and Leah Peaster Dirks.
On Oct. 11, 1942, she married Paul Unruh in Greensburg.
A longtime Scott City resident, Mrs. Unruh was the owner and operator of The Bake Shop and a homemaker.
Survivors include one sister, Velma Wenger of Moundridge; one son, Owen Unruh of Scott City; four daughters, Janice Ratzlaff of Geiger, Ala., Naomi Duhm of Mariposa, Calif., and Charlene Unruh and Norene Rohrbough, both of Scott City; 11 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother; three sisters; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Scott Mennonite Church in Scott County.
Interment will be at the Scott Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
