Deerfield Summer Celebration: The second annual event will include a parade at 9:30 a.m. (individuals driving antique or classic vehicles in the parade are to line up at 9 a.m. at the high school parking lot) and a car, motorcycle and tractor show from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Old Texaco Station in Deerfield. Free concert: Folk/bluegrass music featuring “Acoustic Friends,” 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Stevens Park in downtown Garden City.
TUESDAY, JULY 31
Musical variety program: Featuring “The Garden City Humdinger Band,” 7 p.m. at Garden Valley Retirement Village, 1505 E. Spruce St. The public is encouraged to attend at no charge.
“Get Your Game On”: Featuring Wii and PS3 on big screens, plus board games, cards and more, for youth age 8 and older (younger kids must be accompanied by an adult), 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Finney County Public Library, 605 E. Walnut St.

Hours at the Finney County Health Department, 919 Zerr Road, are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday hours are 8 a.m. to noon.
