Art exhibit: Featuring the works of Denver artist Patricia Barry Levy at the Garden City Arts Gallery, 318 N. Main St., through May 4. A lunch discussion will begin at noon today in which the artist will share her techniques and processes. This will be followed by an artists reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Free admission; refreshments will be served. Musical program: Featuring "The Primo Trio," 7:30 p.m. in Clifford Hope Auditorium at Horace J. Good Middle School, 1412 N. Main St. This is a performance in the Southwest Kansas Live On Stage concert season. Individual tickets are $25 for adults and $6 for students; memberships also are for sale. Calf fry dinner: The Sons of the American Legion will have a benefit calf fry dinner for Ruben Calderon from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion, 405 S. Main St. The menu will include calf fries, ham and beans, chicken and noodles, meat loaf, salad and all the fixin's, iced tea and coffee at a cost of $8 for adults, $5 for ages 8 to 13 and free to children younger than 7 (with a parent). Open to the public.
