TODAY, DEC. 21

Breakfast with Santa: 8 to 11 a.m. at the Eagles Lodge, U.S. Highway 83 and Mary Street. Cost is $5, with proceeds going to the Auxiliary Cancer Fund.

Christmas Dance: Featuring "Moonshiners," 8 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge, U.S. Highway 83 and Mary Street. There will be an exchange of gifts (men are to bring a gift for a man, and ladies are to bring a gift for a woman). Admission for the dance, which is open to the public and sponsored by Art Green, is $5.

SUNDAY, DEC. 22

Classic Gospel Sing-along: Open to all area musicians and the general public, 4 p.m. at Heaven Bound Cowboy Church, 1202 S. Second in Dodge City. For more information, call (620) 846-7046.

TUESDAY, DEC. 24

Christmas Eve service: Nondenominational service at 6:30 p.m. at Garden Valley Retirement Village, 1505 E. Spruce St. Pastor David Jones will give the devotional and will provide special music along with Fielding Hands, Gwyneth Frack, Francine McAdams and Sharon Jones. The public is encouraged to attend.

Health Department and WIC

Hours at the Finney County Health Department, 919 Zerr Road, are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday hours are 8 a.m. to noon. For more information, call the health department at 272-3600 or WIC (Women, Infant and Children) at 272-3615.

Senior Center

The following events are scheduled at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St., unless otherwise noted. Anyone 55 years of age or older is welcome to participate.

Prairie Land Food pickup: Noon today.

Open pool: 1 to 4 p.m. today.

Duplicate bridge: 2 p.m. Sunday.

Dominoes and open pool: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed Wednesday and Thursday).

Lunch: Served at noon Monday through Friday (closed Wednesday and Thursday).

Double pinochle: 12:30 p.m. Monday.

Duplicate bridge: 7 p.m. Monday.

Walking: 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Gentle exercises: 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Senior center/transit: Closing at 1 p.m. (will reopen on Friday).

Line dancing: 8:30 a.m. Friday.

Craft Shop check-in/out: 10 a.m. to noon Friday.

Bridge: 12:45 p.m. Friday.

Fiddlers, Pickers and Singers: 5 p.m. Dec. 28.

Meals on Wheels is available by calling 272-3620; Mini-bus, 272-3626; Senior Center, 272-3620.
