Audra Hoffman and Jared Bogard, both of Lawrence, were married Oct. 25, 2013, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence. The 4:30 p.m., double-ring ceremony was officiated by Father Michael "Mick" Mulvany.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Connie Hoffman of Garden City. Her grandparents are Mike and Dorothy Hoffman of Garden City; and Al and Nora Keller of Garden City.

Parents of the groom are Mike and Wendy Bogard of Lansing; and Connie and Denny Kuhn of Scott City. He is the grandson of Walt and Yoshiko Bogard of Lansing; and Jean Burleson of Newcastle, Wyo.

Maid of honor was Kelsi Hoffman, the bride's sister from Hays. Matron of honor was Ashley Best of Newton. Bridesmaids were Erin Koksal of Denver; and Jess Funk of Omaha, Neb. Junior bridesmaid was Laine Durler, the bride's daughter from Lawrence.

Best man was Jordan VanCampen of Lawrence. Groomsmen were J.R. Behan of Topeka; Brian Witham of Wichita; and Sean Collins of Garden City.

Candlelighters were Alice Bogard, the groom's aunt from Kansas City, Mo.; and Joanna Howard, the groom's cousin from Kansas City, Mo.

Lectors were Rod Hoffman, the bride's godfather from Lenexa; and Adrian Wheeler, the groom's sister from El Reno, Okla.

Eucharistic ministers were Michael Hoffman, the bride's father; and Deanna Wellbrock, the bride's godmother from Hays.

Serving as ushers were Adam Hoffman, the bride's brother from Hays; Brady Wheeler, the groom's brother-in-law from El Reno; and Mark Boedeker, the groom's brother-in-law from Gardner.

Musicians were Wendy Bogard, the groom's stepmother from Lansing; and Emily Boedeker, the groom's sister from Gardner, who also was the soloist. Music selections included "Ava Maria," "Chorale from Cantata 147," "When Love Is Found," "Blest Are They" and "Trumpet Tune."

The ceremony was followed by a reception, dinner and dance, given by the couple's parents, at Alvamar Country Club in Lawrence.

The bride graduated from Fort Hays State University and earned a master's degree in social work from Newman University in Wichita. She is a social worker in the Oncology Department at St. Francis Health Center in Topeka.

The groom graduated from Garden City Community College with an associates degree in applied science. He is chief flight nurse for EagleMed 14 in Chanute and also works as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence.

After a wedding trip by train to Chicago, the newlyweds are at home in Lawrence.
