Katherine "Katie" Jarmer and Nathan Crowe, both of Kansas City, Mo., were married Aug. 16, 2013, in a 7 p.m., outdoor ceremony at The Guild Garden in Kansas City, Mo. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Philip Lesniewski.

The bride's parents are Roger and Deb Jarmer of Garden City. Her grandparents are William and Neta Stephens of Garden City; and the late Cyril and Beth Jarmer.

The groom is the son of Lawrence and Mindy Crowe of Overland Park. His grandparents are Donald and Patty Miller of Joplin, Mo.; the late Joseph Crowe; and the late Katheryn Koslowsky.

Matron of honor was Emily Wilson Beydler of Kansas City, Mo. Bridesmaids were Kelli Jarmer, the bride's sister from Shawnee; Lindsay Jarmer, the bride's sister from Garden City; and Laura Crowe, the groom's sister-in-law from Kansas City, Mo.

Best man was Kert Crowe, the groom's brother from Kansas City, Mo. Groomsmen were Sean McClusky of Prairie Village; and Ben Huber and Mike Mehring, both of Overland Park.

Flower girl was Lauren Jarmer, the bride's niece from Garden City. Ringbearer was Jeremiah Beydler of Kansas City, Mo.

Serving as ushers were Matthew Jarmer, the bride's brother from Lawrence; Brett and Joey Jarmer, the bride's brothers from Garden City; and Jack Lapping and Dave Kissick, both of Kansas City, Mo.

Musicians were Joel Kanne and Nick Beydler, both of Kansas City, Mo.

The ceremony was followed by a reception, catered dinner and dancing at The Guild in downtown Kansas City, Mo.

The bride graduated from Garden City High School in 2000 and from Kansas State University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in mass communications. She is office manager at Hope Family Care Center.

The groom graduated from Rockhurst High School in 2002 and from University of Missouri in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in economics and finance. He is a sales executive for Cerner Corp.

After a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the newlyweds are at home in Kansas City, Mo.
