On Monday, four more schools will be recognized by the USD 457 Board of Education meeting for receiving Standard of Excellence Awards on state assessments for the 2011-12 school year.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday in the Board Meeting Room, Educational Support Center, 1205 Fleming St.

The schools that will be recognized are Abe Hubert Elementary School, Edith Scheuerman Elementary School, Horace Good Middle School and Kenneth Henderson Middle School.

The board also will recognize students who received the Kansas Infinitec Coalition Outstanding Student Technology Award.

Also, Josh Guymon, Garfield Early Childhood Center principal, will give an update on the center after its first semester of operation.

And Theresa Dasenbrock will give an update on recommendations by the Governor's Task Force on School Efficiency.
