Beach is a full-time entertainer, musician, songwriter, storyteller and teaching artist. As an entertainer for more than 30 years, he has delighted audiences with his musical talent, humorous antics, wit and easy-going style, eliciting audience participation and making each performance a spontaneous, unique and personal experience. He has performed primarily solo at festivals, libraries, schools and community gatherings throughout Southeast and Midwest regions of the United States and England.
Ron Tibbets is well known in science circles as he has been with the Wichita Omnisphere and Science Center since 1990. He probably is better known as “The Bubble Man” or the “Science Wizard” as he has been blowing bubbles and demonstrating the beauty and mystery of this art for more than 600,000 children of all ages from around the world. This affectionate and fun-loving individual is a “marvelous entertainer,” who loves children and one whom everyone enjoys being around.
Leslie and Jay Cady have been performing together since 1980 when they became juggling partners, good friends, and honeys. In 1984 they got married. Their juggling took them to faraway places. From the tropics of Guatemala to the rugged cold of Iceland, from busy London streets to the splendor of the Alps, Jay and Leslie performed their tricks for young and old alike. They took classes from the great mime, Marcel Marceau. They studied tapes of great comedy teams like the Smothers Brothers and George Burns and Gracie Allen. They perform at theaters, festivals, schools, and anywhere people need to be entertained. They call their show Laughing Matters because it does.

Dallas Chief Eagle has been teaching hoop dancing to his stepdaughter Jasmine Pickner since she was a young girl. Several years ago they had an apprenticeship to work together more intensively, and at the end of that time Jasmine became the first female to win the teen division of the World Hoop Dance Championships. This year Dallas and Jasmine continued to develop her skills, and also worked on a joint performance that they present at schools and community events. Jasmine also learned skills to support her growing business as a performer in her own right. In the fall of 2007, Dallas and Jasmine were invited by the American Folklife Center to perform at the Library of Congress and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
A non-profit, tax-exempt puppet company organized to promote the art of puppetry by producing and presenting high-quality performances and workshops. The company aims to educate the public about the arts, serving as a center for the exchange of ideas, and enhancing the quality of community life.
Tim Seeber, an artist from Colorado, entertains children as he walks around with puppet dinosaur skeletons created from foam rubber. It started out as a Halloween costume for a costume contest, Seeber said. He won the contest, and the name Mr. Bones stuck. Hidden underneath the dinosaur puppets, he controls the bones' movement with his hands as the costume stands about eight feet tall.
