GCPD investigating shooting incident

The Garden City Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened early Sunday morning in the northwest part of the city.
According to GCPD Sgt. Michael Reagle, officers were dispatched at 2:20 a.m. to 311 W. Fair St., where they learned someone had shot a handgun from outside the residence into the residence.
"We believe there were four adults and three children inside the residence at the time and no one was injured," Reagle said.
The suspect or suspects are unknown at this time. They fled in an unknown direction. Police have no description of the suspect or suspects.
"At this point we do not have a motive for the shooting and we are still investigating the incident," he said.
