Spring Field Day is set for Tuesday

Garden City's Spring Field Day is Tuesday, with registration and introductions beginning at 2:15 p.m. at the Kansas State Southwest Research-Extension Center, 4500 E. Mary St.

Garden City's Spring Field Day is Tuesday, with registration and introductions beginning at 2:15 p.m. at the Kansas State Southwest Research-Extension Center, 4500 E. Mary St.

Presenters will be Dr. John Holman and Dr. Sarah Zukoff, both at KSU Southwest Research-Extension; Dr. Guorong Zhang, KSU Hays Agriculture Research Center; Dr. Erick DeWolf, KSU Department of Plant Pathology; and Mike Stamm, KSU Department of Agronomy.

Presentations on wheat varieties begin at 2:30 p.m., wheat diseases at 3 p.m., wheat insects at 3:30 p.m., canola varieties at 4 p.m., canola production at 4:30 p.m. and cover crops at 5 p.m., with a supper served at 5:30 p.m.
