The Finney County Genealogical Society will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Kansas Room at the Finney County Public Library, 605 E. Walnut St.

Ruth M. Dunlap will give the lesson "Swedish Genealogy."

Visitors are welcome.

Senior center pinochle

Betty Schreibvogel won high in the four tables of senior center pinochle played Wednesday at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St. Bob Ellis took second place. Third went to Mary Joseph.

Happy Hustlers 4-H

The Finney County Fair and Rock Springs 4-H Camp were popular answers to roll call, which was "Name your favorite 4-H Event" May 4 at the regular monthly meeting of Happy Hustlers 4-H Club.

The treasurer presented a bill of $22 for the club program books. The leader reminded everyone about camp deadlines and animal weigh-ins. Members voted to do a Beef Empire Day float for the parade.

Tristan Clark showed how to do bleach pen art, showing several T-shirts he had done. He also did the community service tip about using your talent and time.

Song leader Rian Linenberger led everyone in singing "Happy Birthday" to the club's birthday honorees: Tristan Clark, Lauren Gigot and Colby Kempke.

The next meeting will begin at 7 p.m. June 1 at Wards Garden Center.
