ABC Pregnancy Care Center of Garden City will have its 11th annual Sonrise Run/Walk on April 13.
The event will begin at 9 a.m., rain or shine, at 509 N. Sixth St. Two courses will be marked around Garden City, including the 5k and the half-marathon.
Registration will be from 8 to 8:45 a.m. on the day of the race, or you can register early by calling 275-1777. Cost is $20 for the 5k and $25 for the half-marathon (both include a T-shirt). A family entry of $30 also is available for those who have two or more in a family participating and includes two T-shirts.
Trophies will be awarded to the first-place winners of each race. The top three male and female runners of each race will receive medals. There also will be medals for the top three finishers of each race age 16 and younger.
All proceeds will benefit ABC Pregnancy Care Center and its ministries to save the lives of unborn children, minister to those facing an unplanned pregnancy, promote abstinence and offer hope through Christ to those who have had an abortion.
