Senior center volunteers honored with free lunch

4/8/2014

The week of April 13 to 19 is National Volunteer Week. Volunteering is defined as the practice of working on behalf of others or a particular cause without payment for time and services. Volunteers play an important role at the senior center. In fact, we could not function without the many people who give their time here at our location, as well as the numerous other sites across this city.

We are honoring our volunteers with a free lunch sponsored by the Finney County Senior Citizens Association on April 17. Tickets are required. If you volunteer at the senior center and have not picked up a lunch ticket, please call 272-3620. The theme is "Yee Haw for Volunteers." Wear your cowboy hat and boots. Come on down.
