Want to visit with an expert on Social Security? Now is your chance. Rick Fowler from the Dodge City Social Security office will be here from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday to talk about the pros and cons of retiring at 62.

Why should you consider retiring at 62? Is it better to wait until 66? How does this affect my monthly payment? Can I still work?

These are but a few of the questions we hear about Social Security. Join us as we learn from Mr. Fowler.

Each month we will learn about topics of interest to the boomer generation. This new program is called Boomer's Bootcamp. We will meet the fourth Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Topics will include advanced directives, pre-retirement planning, aging into Medicare and more.

Boomer's Bootcamp is open to anyone wishing to learn more about topics of interest to baby boomers. No reservations are needed. Just join us monthly.
