Wilma Waller to celebrate 80th

Wilma Waller to celebrate 80th

Friends and family of Wilma Waller are invited to join in a celebration of her 80th birthday with a shower of cards at a reception from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at the Elks Lodge, 905 Kansas Plaza. Light refreshments will be served.

Those who are unable to attend the reception are encouraged to send a card to Wilma, in care of Pam Selby, 1630 Summit, Garden City, KS 67846.

Senior center bridge

Carol Bradford won high in the two tables of senior center bridge played Aug. 30 at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St. Floyd Horn took second place. Third went to Grace Reimer.

In the two tables played Friday, Reimer won high, Betty Harsh was second, and Ducky Tricks took third.

Senior center pinochle

Bob Baker won high in the five tables of senior center pinochle played Wednesday at the Senior Center of Finney County, 907 N. 10th St. Second place went to Bob Ellis. Maybelle Bowen placed third.
