A pair of quarter horses had to be brought to the Garden City/Finney County Animal Shelter on Saturday afternoon because they appeared to be malnourished, according to Garden City police.
Garden City police Sgt. Michael Reagle said that the horses were taken from the 300 block of Bellevue Avenue.
"We are still trying to identify the owners," he said.
The quarter horses are being kept in the east yard of the shelter.
