Hugoton 55, Goodland 46

At Hugoton, Katy Heger scored 22 points to lead the Hugoton Lady Eagles to a victory over the Goodland Cowgirls, 55-46 in Great West Activities Conference play.

At the half, the Cowgirls were leading 28-22. The game turned when the Lady Eagles outscored Goodland 13-4 and put it away in the fourth.

Colby 44, Scott City 19

At Scott City, Haileigh Shull put 13 points onto the scoreboard to lead the Colby Lady Eagles to vistory against the Scott City Lady Beavers, 44-19 in Great West Activities Conference action.

In a match that ended with the Lady Beavers scoring less than half that of the Lady Eagles, the Lady Beavers were unable to score more than 7 points in a quarter. The Lady Eagles held a lead of 12 points at the half that was secured after the Lady Beavers scored just three points in both the third and fourth quarters.

SW Heights 57, Sublette 24

At Sublette, Nayelly LaPoint scored 17 points to help the SW Heights Lady Mustangs rout the Sublette Lady Larks, 57-24 in Hi-Plains League action.

At the end of the first quarter, the Lady Mustangs only had a three-point lead on the Lady Larks, 13-10. That lead changed to 12 points at the half and continued to grow in both the third and fourth quarters,

At Syracuse, Morgan Ediger put 15 points up on the board to bring victory to the Cimarron Lady Bluejays against the Syracuse Lady Bulldogs, 61-20 in Hi-Plains League action.

The Lady Bluejays were only 6 points ahead of the Lady Bulldogs at the end of the first quarter. That quickly changed when the Lady Bluejays scored 30 points in the second quarter and held Syracuse to just 6, taking a 45-15 halftime lead.

At Meade, Bailey Olvera and Jaylin Stapleton landed 16 points each to help the Meade Lady Buffaloes on their way to win against the Satanta Lady Indians, 70-41 in the Hi-Plains League.

The first quarter began in the favor of the Lady Buffaloes, 20-5. Meade increased that lead to 39-15 at intermission. The second half proved to be less one-sided as the Lady Indians began to close in on the Lady Buffaloes point-wise. The scores of the fourth quarter were 17-15 in favor of the Lady Buffaloes.

At Ingalls, Kilee Harris and Ashton Snyder scored 13 and 12 points, respectively, to lead the South Central Lady Timberwolves to a win over the Ingalls Lady Bulldogs, 46-37.

By halftime, the Lady Bulldogs were ahead of the Lady Timberwolves by a single point, 18-17, and increased that to 29-25 after three.

The Timberwolves secured their win by outscoring the Bulldogs 21-8 in the final quarter.

At St. Francis, the host Indians fell to the Dighton Hornets, 74-35, as the Hornets rode the scoring of Jordan Speer and Leslie Speer, who each scored 16 points, to the victory.

The Hornets ran away with the game as they scored over 20 points in the first three periods.

The leading scorer for the Indians was Kyla Bandel with 17 points.
