Garden City Police Department Arrests/Citations

Monday

Louis West, 58, Terre Haute, Ind., was cited and released at 2:50 a.m. on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Sunday

Jodey House, 41, Granby, Mo., was arrested and lodged at 1:18 a.m. in the 600 block of St. John Street on an allegation of driving under the influence.

Felix Solorzano, 69, 901 Amy St., was cited and released at 4:12 p.m. in the 700 block of West Buffalo Jones Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Saturday

Michael Barnes, 21, 1907 A St., was arrested and lodged at 1:58 p.m. in the 800 block of Campus Drive on a municipal warrant.

Marcia Golden, 64, 1521 Pioneer Road, was arrested and lodged at 8:06 p.m. in the 1500 block of Pioneer Road on an out-of-county warrant and an allegation of interference with law enforcement.

Friday

Janice Cooley, 57, Dodge City, was cited and released at 2:05 a.m. in the 100 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Christina Garcia, 30, 156 Shamrock St., was arrested and lodged at 10:59 a.m. in the 1900 block of Willow Street on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Carl Davidson, 61, 3740 W. Jones Ave., was cited and released at 11:43 a.m. in the 100 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Uriel Trejo, 19, 208 Wesley St., was cited and released at 2:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Bradley Cunningham, 17, Deerfield, was cited and released at 8:15 a.m. in the 2600 block of North Eighth Street on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Assael Pulido-Valencia, 31, 708 Mulberry St., was arrested and lodged at 10:21 a.m. in the 2000 block of Taylor Avenue on an allegation of driving while suspended.

Amanda Rice, 32, 154 Shamrock St., was cited and released at 6:25 p.m. in the 100 block of Shamrock Street on an allegation of battery.

Aspen Kinkaid, 19, 600 Campus Drive, was cited and released at 5:39 p.m. at Walmart, 3101 E. Kansas Ave., on an allegation of theft.

Eva Rodriguez, 36, 340 S. Farmland Road, was arrested and lodged at 1:14 p.m. at Sonic, 1313 E. Kansas Ave., on an allegation of identity theft.

Seth Burnett, 21, 1203 N. 11th St., was arrested and lodged at 3:59 p.m. in the 400 block of North Eighth Street on an arrest-and-detain order.

Thursday

Martha Lopez, 26, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, No. 306, was cited and released at 3:18 a.m. in the 1100 block of East Fulton Street on an allegation of no valid driver's license.

Thefts/Losses

Sunday

Between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the 600 block of East Maple Street, an unknown person smashed the window of a residence, entered and stole $650 in cash from a bedroom. Estimated damage loss $100.

Between 7 a.m. Thursday and 5 p.m. Sunday in the 2900 block of Fleming Street, an unknown person entered a locked residence by unknown means and took electronics. Loss $900.

Saturday

Between 11:15 and 11:22 p.m. in the 1200 block of North 11th Street, an unknown person forced entry into an occupied residence and took an electronic device. Damage loss $200. Theft loss $600.

At 3:40 p.m. at Kwik Shop, 1102 Campus Drive, an unkown person left without paying for fuel. Loss $72.

Friday

Between 5 and 5:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of East Kansas Avenue, an unknown person stole a license plate. Loss $5.

Garden City Fire Department

Sunday

At 4:06 p.m. at 702 W. Buffalo Jones Ave., motor-vehicle accident with no injuries.

Saturday

At 8:44 p.m. at 6070 Skyline Drive, unauthorized burning.

At 6:13 p.m. at 1621 E. Kansas Ave., person in distress.

Friday

At 8:26 p.m. at 500 U.S. Highway 50 Bypass, motor-vehicle accident with no injuries.

At 9:43 a.m. at 1706 Benton, medical assist, assist EMS crew.

At 8:05 a.m. at 1311 N. Summit St., cooking fire, confined to container.

At 5:40 a.m. at 2202 E. U.S. Highway 50, commercial compactor fire, confined to rubbish.
