Arrests/Citations

Tuesday

Dawn Walker, 41, 300 Fleming St., was arrested at 12:12 a.m. in the 1000 block of East Spruce Street on allegations of aggravated battery, aggravated assault, obstruction, battery on a law enforcement officer, following an alleged fight with a person in which a knife was used.

Kevin Parks, 48, 1500 Rodkey Road, was cited and released at 6:07 a.m. in the 1300 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Pedro Pascascio, 48, 903 W. Olive St., was arrested at 10:12 a.m. in the 900 block of West Olive Street on a failure-to-appear warrant.

Kenton Pratt, 24, 1511 W. Mary St., was arrested at 2:51 p.m. in the 400 block of North Eighth Street on a failure-to-appear warrant.

Adrian Wesley, 20, 1707 Hattie St., was arrested at 12:05 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Center, 304 N. Ninth St., on a warrant for allegations of illegal tags and a failure-to-appear warrant for an allegation of marijuana possession.

Berny Cantu Jr., 18, 950 Jennie Barker Road, Lot 6, was arrested at 4:39 p.m. at 950 Jennie Barker Road, on a failure-to-appear warrant and allegations of giving a false report, driving without a valid license, inattentive driving, failure to wear a seat belt, illegal tags, defective headlights and curfew violation.

Preston Carr, 27, 306 N. Sixth St., was arrested at 4:12 p.m. at EZ Wash, 1114 Bancroft St., on allegations of driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance.

Monday

Michelle Brungardt, 35, 500 Campusview St., was cited and released at 7:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of East Kansas Avenue, on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Matthew Horney, 26, 1600 Jan St., was cited and released at 8:33 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Center Street on allegations of no proof of insurance.

Jorge Enriquez, 19, 600 N. Ninth St., was cited and released at 10:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Fleming Street on allegations of possession of drug paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol under the legal age.

Michael Herrada, 33, 600 Amy St., was cited and released at 7:40 p.m. in the 100 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Saturday

Carlos Olivarez, 43, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, Lot 399, was arrested at 3:09 p.m. in the 1100 block of Jennie Barker Road on two city warrants.

Richard Allen Fanning, 28, 1308 Conard Ave., was cited and released at 2:16 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Fifth Street on an allegation of driving without proof of insurance.

Garrett Lee Beck, 23, 309 E. Chestnut St., was cited and released at 3 p.m. in the 2600 block of Campus Drive on an allegation of driving with a suspended license.

Salvador Castrejon Jr., 26, 312 E. Pine St., was arrested at 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East Walnut Street on allegations of driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance.

Juan Manuel Solis, 19, 605 Labrador Blvd., Apt. 112, was arrested at 9:43 a.m. in the 2500 block of North Third Street on a county warrant.

Avelino Tito Ortiz, 43, 4520 E. U.S. Highway 50, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Center on allegations of fleeing and eluding and driving with a revoked license.

Alfredo Sanchez, 40, Leoti, was arrested at 1:44 a.m. in the 1400 block of West Thompson Street on allegations of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and with a suspended license.

Juan Gutierrez, 22, 1913 C St., was arrested at 12:04 a.m. at Time Out Sports Bar, 1319 N. Taylor Ave., on an allegation of prohibited acts in a public place.

Sedrick Becken, 32, 2506 N. Main St., was arrested at 2:58 a.m. in the 2800 block of East Kansas Avenue on an allegation of driving without a valid license.

Friday

Jorge Armendariz, 41, 2401 W. Kansas Ave., Apt. 8, was cited and released at 9:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of St. John Street on an allegation of driving without proof of insurance.

Daniel Rodriguez, 19, 621 Susan St., was cited and released at 8:21 p.m. in the 1200 block of Gibson Street on an allegation of reckless driving.

Monica Torres, 26, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, Lot 190, was cited and released at 11:21 p.m. in the 4100 block of East U.S. Highway 50 on an allegation of telephone harassment.

Maritza Velasquez-Romero, 25, 4101 E. U.S. Highway 50, Lot 282, was cited and released at 11:18 a.m. in the 2600 block of North Eighth Street on an allegation of driving without a valid license.

Gerardo Ayala, 26, 207 Conkling Ave., was arrested at 11:50 a.m. in the 200 block of Conkling Avenue on allegations of criminal trespass, violation of a protection-from-abuse order and criminal damage that occurred earlier in the day in the 700 block of Conkling Avenue. Criminal damage loss $70.

Benjamin Varela, 17, 1110 Bancroft St., was arrested at 8:05 a.m. at J.D. Adams Hall, 1312 N. Seventh St., and released to Programs Assessments Treatment Habilitation, 2701 N. 11th St., on an allegation of disorderly conduct.

Melvin Coleman, 47, 505 1/2 N. Eighth St., Apt. 4, was cited and released at 3 p.m. in the 100 block of West Kansas Avenue on an allegation of driving without proof of insurance.

Jose Tapete, 17, 65 S. Farmland Road, Lot 41, was cited and released at 11:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of North Fifth Street on an allegation of no proof of insurance.

Billie Mondragon, 26, 205 S. 11th St., was arrested at noon in the 900 block of North Sixth Street on an allegation of driving without a valid license.

Jose Lopez, 15, 503 E. Laurel Ave., was cited and released at 9:27 a.m. at Garden City High School, 1412 N. Main St., on an allegation of disorderly conduct.

Thefts/Losses

Saturday

Between 5 and 10 p.m. at Zacatecano Club, 105 N. 12th St., someone took a license plate off a trailer at the business. Loss $3.

Between 9 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday in the 4100 block of East U.S. Highway 50, someone entered an unsecured residence and took a 42-inch TV, a PlayStation, jewelry and other electronic items. Loss $3,278.

Friday

Between 6 p.m. Feb. 18 and 11 a.m. Friday at Dillons, 1211 W. Buffalo Jones Ave., someone passed a counterfeit bill. Loss $10.

Between 8 a.m. Thursday and 5:50 p.m. Friday at Bank of America, 1515 E. Kansas Ave., someone passed a counterfeit bill. Loss $100.

Between 6:30 and 8:07 p.m. at Wal-Mart, 3101 E. Kansas Ave., someone took a 30-day license plate.

Between 7 and 10 p.m. in the 400 block of Hudson Street, someone entered a residence after unlocking a door and took a television, video games, money and other items. Loss $1,574.

Thursday

Between 8:30 and 8:54 p.m. at Kwik Shop, 1102 Campus Drive, someone entered an unlocked vehicle and took a dress. Loss $20.

Feb. 15

Between 7 p.m. Feb. 14 and 2 a.m. Feb 15 at Time Out Sports Bar, 1319 N. Taylor Ave., someone entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a coat and cell phone. Loss $230.

Feb. 12

Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. at Money Stop, 116 W. Kansas Ave., a known person took another person's checks and forged the victim's name to receive funds. Loss $700.
